Plugins

We use formidable forms plugin for Forms such as the Friends and Family Test which uses its own templates which we have limited control over how it renders.

  • Certain ARIA roles must contain particular children, this fails WCAG 1.3.1
  • Certain ARIA roles must be contained by particular parents, this fails WCAG 1.3.1
  • Buttons must have discernible text, this fails WCAG 4.1.2
  • IDs of active elements must be unique, this fails WCAG 4.1.1
  • IDs used in ARIA and labels must be unique, this fails WCAG 4.1.1
  • Links must have discernible text, this fails WCAG 2.4.4, WCAG 4.1.2
  • Elements must be contained in a <ul> or <ol>, this fails WCAG 1.3.1

Other 3rd Party tools

  • Catchment area we use an iFrame link to a 3rd party catchment area tool which is managed by 3rd party.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

PDFs and other documents

Some of our pages link to PDF documents provided by external organisations for additional content.  Whilst these documents are outside of our control, we will update links to web page content where possible when articles are reviewed.

Live video

We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 24th May 2024.

This website was last tested on 24th May 2024.  The test was carried out in-house by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust using the Accessibility Insights for Web tool.  We used a sample of pages for testing which covered different content types, including written and video content.
